CUSTOM ORTHOPEDIC BRACING
Consultation & Fitting
Specialized bracing services for knees, wrist, ankles, shoulders and back.
Matt is experienced in fitting a variety of product lines, including DonJoy, Ossur and Breg braces.
ABOUT
Matthew de Gooijer
Matt grew up playing sports and helping out at the family farm in Saskatchewan. In 2013 he completed his undergrad degree in Kinesiology from the University of Regina. He then attended and graduated from the Athletic Therapy program at Mount Royal University and became certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association in 2014. Matt has 9+ years of experience working with varsity teams in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Nova Scotia. Matt has also worked for and enjoyed treating injuries with the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team. Matt has worked with the Yarmouth Mariners Jr A MHL Hockey Team who went to the Hockey Canada Jr A Centennial Cup National Championships in Spring 2023 before he made the move out to the west coast and began working with the Campbell River Storm Jr A VIJHL Hockey Team. He is looking forward to working with the Campbell River Ravens Jr B Lacrosse this spring 2024. Matt is looking forward to helping you recover!
